Getting Started with Adobe Presenter

Adobe Presenter software is a plug-in for PowerPoint (on Windows machines).  The content authoring software allows you to transform a slideshow into a narrated, interactive, engaging presentation with embedded content and quizzes, and which can be published across multiple platforms.

IMPORTANT: As of Summer 2020, Adobe Connect Presenter ( and PowerPoint plug-in) is no longer a campus-supported tool. However, there are still a limited number of Adobe Connect Presenter licences available for course instructors to request through the IT website. The software is the “as is” version of the product that the university is licensed for – upgrades, newer versions, compatibility issues and more would need to be addressed by the individual.
