How to Bulk Download D2L Dropbox Submissions/ Assignments
Bulk downloading assignment submissions from D2L can be helpful in two common situations:
It provides a reliable backup of student work for archiving or future reference, and it allows you to review and grade submissions offline without needing constant access to D2L.
- In your course, navigate to Assessments, then Dropbox.

- Locate the Dropbox folder that contains the assignment submissions you wish to download. From the drop-down menu, select View Submissions.

- Click the Checkbox at the top left to select all Students’s names. Note: D2L displays 10 learners per page by default. If your class has more than 10 students, it’s best to adjust the “View per page” setting to 200. This ensures you don’t miss any submissions or need to download files from each page separately. However, if you have more than 200 students, you will still need to repeat the download process for each page.
Click the Download button.
- Click the Download button to save the generated zip file on your computer.

- Unzip the downloaded file to access student submissions. Each student’s work will be organized into a separate folder labeled with their name.
