LMS Upgrade Project
Our campus license for Blackboard 8 expires soon, and we are currently evaluating the current versions of three learning management systems that may be implemented to replace Blackboard 8.
The campus community is being engaged through the Teaching & Learning Committee, in order to document needs and priorities of instructors and students. Responses from individual users are also welcome. These data will be used to score and select the replacement learning management system.
The three vendors will be providing videos to showcase how their software provides functionality for content creation, learner interaction, and assessment. These videos will be available online on November 15.
To access the "sandbox" evaluation instances of each of the LMS applications, please use the account request form. Accounts will be provided for any members of the University of Calgary community who would like to explore the applications.
